Mission: The mission of Bella Vita Aquaponics is to teach missionaries/teams to utilize aquaponic agriculture techniques to evangelize and feed underprivileged people groups, both domestic and abroad, while encouraging good environmental stewardship and practices.
Who We Are:
Bella Vita Aquaponics was started in 2016 and is located in Titusville, FL.
The vision for this organization started back in 2008, when founder Pamela J. Bell was getting a bachelors degree in Marine Biology at Florida Institute of Technology. There, she was growing both as a child of Christ, and as a scientist with a passion for the conservation of our beautiful planet. Upon graduation, she was on the lookout for a practical method of sustainable ways to feed poor people so that they did not have to take as much from natural resources. In 2011 she moved to the city of Worcester, MA. There, as she began researching how Aquaculture could be done in small spaces in a city environment, she discovered Aquaponics. Ever since she has made it her mission to create this non-profit. In November of 2015, Trinity Community Church of Titusville, FL became the 1st church to support this mission. We are a new organization but very excited to see where the Lord will take us in this endeavor.
